Flomax used to treat prostate cancer, a condition called BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as prostate enlargement). Flomax belongs to a class of alpha-blockers. How to use Flomax 0.4 mg:

Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects to flomax. If you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects such as loss of consciousness, vision changes, rapid heartbeat, inform your doctor immediately. In the event of a painful or prolonged feelings for 4 or more hours, stop using this drug and require immediate medical attention. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: swelling, dizziness, hives, itching, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
